Love the elotes here! They take great care with each cup. There is a line and it takes time but they still make each cup with purpose. so be prepared to wait Lots of other places would speed up and lose the consistency of quality they have! They drain each scoop of corn so it doesn't get nasty soggy. They layer each spoonful as they go 3/5 times so you get all the ingredients through out. The cheese is not the regular cotija that most places use. I won't say what it is as it's a secret but they told me. You might wanna ask ( ssshhh. Let them have their success, they earned it!) The corn isn't roasted or off the cob. It's friggin canned corn, look what a little love, dedication, attention to each scoop and only a few ingredients can do to transform simple canned corn into corn crack.
My favorite place to get elote when I am Dallas. This place is always lit and fun to stop by any time but more especially at night on the weekends. A lot of people will come here for the tacos but I come here for the elote. ****CASH ONLY********** Normally they are always busy but more especially during the weekends. They usually have 2 carts taking orders for elotes but the last few times I have been they only had one. The line does move quickly so no need to worry about that. With that in mind the parking can get a bit crazy but there is always someone leaving so just circle the complex once and you will find a spot to park in. The ladies always ask me what is all I want in my elote so is good to know your getting exactly what you ask for. I always get extra Picante sauce when I order the large because I feel is not spicy enough haha. I gotta say my favorite part of the elote is the crema and the cheese with the lemon pepper spice oh my! The heat it gets from the salsa gives it just that right kick and gives me goosebumps just thinking about it haha. They raised the price, it use to be small $2, med $3 and large $6 but they have gone up by $1 each so small is $3,med $4 large $7. Not sure if this is because of the pandemic but I hope they bring down the price because that a bit too steep. Thats my only negative that they increased the prices but other then that enjoy and give em a try if your in the area..
Love this place!!!! Fuel city tacos are bomb, they are a go to. If you going during the weak their lines are suppose short, and they give fast service. I go the elotes today, they never disappoint!!
YOUR CUPS GET ME EVERYTIME! I can't be anywhere within 10min of dallas without stopping at this place! The reviews are true, this place is LIT! It's simple yet amazing. It takes easy Mexican corn in a cup and just makes it with a real good helping on all the ingredients. Aka they layer the hell out of it and will hook you up with more cheese, butter, or hot sauce upon request. Cash only and smiles are free...so are the spoons.
This is by far the best elotes in Dallas. I have a serious addiction and have to go get it a couple times a week.
